The gemstones were bought at a souvenir shop when we visited the Meramec Cavern in Missouri. It was in a small box that contains pieces of tumbled gemstones, fool’s gold, amethyst, citrine, optical calcite and rose quartz.
The blog header contains four of the gemstones, the citrine, rose quartz, optical calcite and amethyst. Under the image I’ve listed what the gemstones for and the believed healing therapy it gives.

Candy cane left over – a reminder of the Blessed Christmas that had gone by. The stripes and color were so nice that I wanted to make something out of it. A crane or a flamingo would have been a delight but somehow the legs aren’t coming out right and so I end up making a simple figure of ducks swimming

I wanted something red for the first free blog header. So I took all the red stuffs I could find in the house. A red box, red vase, threads, a red leaf button, red lady bug, red pins etc. I know I wanted something red but I have no idea what to design yet. I downloaded all the pictures I’ve taken on the cam, cropped, and erased some stuffs here and there. I was thinking, definitely I wanted the vase in the design, thread and the red leaf button. It took me while to put all the stuffs together and I’m glad how this turned out.
